No , well, I found example code for my statistic page :P

But for my comments I have a comment table.. and when someone leaves a comment, the 'read' field has a '1' so i select from comments where read='1' which usually displays either a 0 or however many undread comments there are, and when the user visits their own page, all the 1's in 'read' are wiped to '0'

I have a different table for PM's ._.

I guess you just do things 'differently' , as I had two seperate queries and tables for PM's and C's

Im trying to cut down on queries, I mean 20 for a thread is way too much.

The base rate is 8 (user information, logging visit/host,checking theme, counting pms, counting new posts, logging in online, getting location title).

I mean Id like to just use two querys for the comment and pm count, but then again its another +1 to my query count at the bottom which is already too high

you know what would be an intense bit of code?  a bit that flags keywords associated with b33f and displays a bar similar to the karma one, except it reports the b33f level of that particular thread.
I've got a ton of money!

words arn't b33f, unless used in a certain context.

As the word Her.Man doesnt mean b33f, sometimes it can be a question, sometimes it could be random talk, sometimes it could be major b33f.
