because I dont work enough hours I get free dental and health care

My lips are dry and ripped and the inside of my cheeks are sore plus my teeth are aching but I really needed a brace, my teeth are awful.

My mom plunked down about 4000 dollars to have my teeth straightened out.

That's england all over at the moment.

Tax payers pay for benefits for people who don't work, healthcare... everything.

I love reading the Sun every now and again and they show some leacher in a huge house with 18 kids. Makes me laugh.

How many years do you have to wear a retainer?
Did you get any scars on your teeth when they took them off? (I know its plaque that causes it)
Did your teeth get chipped during the treatment?
Did any metal things fall off or your wire snap?

To answer your questions

1) I'll probably never be able to "stop" wearing my retainers, but I just wear them on alternating nights now.
2) I have some calcium deposits and crap but I got those afterwards. Nothing really in the form of scars.
3) None of my teeth got chipped, but it hurt like hell when they took them off. They just grabbed onto the metal band holders with some medical pliers and YANK!! then they took a dreml-like object and ground the rest of the glue off my teeth which didn't feel too good either.
4) Never happened.

How long did it take for you to stop using wax? ATM Im keeping all four corners covered because my cheeks are cut and sore as I wasnt at home after the brace fitting and had no wax on me.

During my tenure with braces, I used my wax all of two times.

I didn't particualarly care if I got cuts or not.
