Golf for the win, shockingly.
Zelda's great, reminds me of why Nintendo still rocks. Only problem I have with it is the godam sword slash noise coming out the remote, so tinny.
I don't like the GUI either, its really big and empty. Weird font issues to. Needs a revamp already.
ALSO, the arcade (virtual whatever) is a total rip off. £7 for 1000 points. Most games, even 12 year old games, are like 800 points. Fuck you Nintendo. I'd rather get some of the new 3d games coming to Xbox live arcade.
However, my sister came over and she was impressed to. I FUCKING LOVE BOXING. I own. Needs to be only or bring over Fight Night.

Basically you goto ; http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/strapreplace.jsp
and request new strap replacements. Recall is the wrong word.
Nintendo is not recalling any of the Wii wrist straps for its motion sensitive Wii Remote. There is no problem with the existing wrist strap as long as the Wii Remote is used sensibly and properly in accordance with the guidelines provided by Nintendo. All parts of the wrist strap have passed product testing and quality control.
The following tips are advised for safe play:
* Always wear the wrist strap while playing.
* Keep a firm grip on the Wii Remote at all times.
* Make sure people and objects are out of the range of movement before play begins.
* Players should keep at least three feet/one meter from their televisions and dry their hands if they become sweaty or wet for any other reason.
* Remember that the Wii Remote is responsive enough to detect minor movements - so excessive and forceful actions are not necessary. Therefore we recommend not to use excessively rapid, violent or wide swinging motions while using the Wii Remote during game play.
Consumers who break their wrist straps through excess usage or who are worried about their wrist strap should contact their nearest Nintendo Service Center voluntary exchange programme has been provided where consumers can replace wrist straps free of charge upon request.

Her kids will probably wear the strap when she's around, but as soon as she's out the room I can guarentee they wont.
Its annoying that the wii-mote is £30 (then £15 for a nun-chuck), we have to keep switching over when playing Wii sports which sucks because you have to strap in. After a few glasses of wine we stopped using the strap - thats when accidents happen.

When you strap in, you don't let go of the remote. Unless you throw your arm out while letting go of the remote.
If it snaps, its your fault.

I would bet anything that all these people are not wearing the strap, then when they break something, they cut the strap and say "OMG LUK IT BROK, GIMME MUNEY NINTANDO!!!"
Quoted for truth.
The class-action lawsuit goes a step further, asking the court to order Nintendo to "correct the defect in the Wii Remote... by refunding or replacing the product with a product that functions as warranted, represented, and intended" along with "such other and further relief as the Court deems just and proper." Class-action lawsuits are a dime a dozen, and as our feature on class-action lawsuits showed, some of them end up doing little more enriching the bank account of the law firm filing the case; the Wii controller class action looks to be in that category. Shortly after the lawsuit was filed, Nintendo took steps to fix the problem and is offering free replacement straps for anyone who wants one. Given the scope of the problem and Nintendo's actions, a lawsuit seems like overkill.
