d) Release 80GB model for an extra 100$
b) Sell all current 60GB stock
c) Discontinue 60GB stock
So essentially for a short time the Playstation 3 will be a $100 cheaper, only to be replaced by another SKU that costs $100. Is it really worth it? Users can plug in there own hard drives anyway, so just drop the price a $100 and forget the 80GB SKU.
Sony are moronic.

The chip in Sony's initial PS3 versions that enables backward compatibility with older PlayStation games, called the "Emotion Engine," will be eliminated from the structure of new 80GB units, which go on sale in August. Sony warns that this means the 80GB PS3 will offer less compatibility.
Similar to Microsoft's Xbox 360, and Sony's own PAL-formatted systems in Europe, backward compatibility will likely be achieved through a periodic system update. The 60GB PS3 model continues to include the chip in order for users to play their PS One and PlayStation 2 games.

Funny. I'm 17

Funny. I'm 17, and I distinctly remember taking two college-level courses last year, and I took the AP tests (pretty much college exams) and getting a 3 on both of them, which qualifies me for college credit.
I don't understand any of that. Why you can't just have A-levels, GNVQs, Degrees, PHDs...etc is beyond me.
"College credit"? What the hell is that? :rat:
I heard thats how Bush got into office

Completely untrue. Everyone knows Bush has a middle-school degree, and that's it.
