Do it now jack, the RC is blistering fast.

Comparing just the boot up is amazing, 7 is like 30 seconds faster.

I would actually pay for my copy of 7.

Installed it on my work machine this afternoon. Installed pretty quick. The interface doesn't feel as quick as 2008 and it's pissing me off having to install features the long way round again. UAC is pissing me off already.

Will spend tomorrow getting it just right and report back. First impressions are pretty good.

OK, it's not as good as 2008 but it's a vast improvement over Vista, how's that?

I'm probably going to upgrade ASAP when it comes out. Vista is a mediocre OS. I preferred XP.

Ive been using 7 as my main OS since the RC now.

I can't go on Vista, its so unbelievably slow in comparison.

I need to wipe my main machine at hope, think I'm going to go with 2008 so I can use Hyper-V, but then I'll put 7 on my laptop and all will be right with the world.

I've got 7 on my work machine, and it's picked up my UPS and everything straight off the bat, and shows it up in the same way as a laptop battery. Crazeh.
