The original iPhone was a breath of fresh air after so many stale phones that only slightly improved each time (k600, k700, k750, k800 as examples).
It introduced a large screen, touch screen technology and style to the phone market and it got alot of good press and great sales, rightly so.
HOWEVER I really don't see why the new version of it, which has had minimal changes is being held in such regard. People are queing outside stores. Engadged has turned into an Apple blog. Hell even the local news channels are talking about it.
WHY? They've added nothing dramatically major and have ignored alot of the big problems constantly pointed out such as no camera flash, a terrible camera, no mms, crippled bluetooth, no removable battery.
Having said all that, I'm loving the app store on my iPod touch

A dyson and breast implants? ooo
Its called Hype for a reason, Its pure BS brought on by the company trying to sell the new product.
If it had any innovating features or 'brand new' things.. it wouldnt need the hype, as it would just say what new things it brought and why you should buy it.
However, i actually thought that out of everyone.. you'd be the one most likely to wake up at 4am and go que outside a o2 store to buy your brand new iPhone for the 'calander features' which you require.
